Cinnamon-Sugar Pizza Made With Crescent Rolls

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • - 1 or 2 cans 8 oz each refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • - 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • - 1/4 to 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • - 1 to 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • - Optional: powdered sugar milk, and vanilla extract for glaze

Instructions

  • Cooking Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Arrange the triangles on a pizza pan with the points facing toward the center, overlapping the edges to form a continuous crust.
  • Press the seams of the dough together to eliminate any gaps, ensuring a solid crust.
  • Brush the prepared crust generously with the melted butter.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
  • Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cooked through. Check the edges for doneness.
  • Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  • For an extra touch, consider drizzling a glaze made from powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract over the warm pizza before serving.
  • You can also experiment with toppings like chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, or a drizzle of caramel or cream cheese icing to make this dessert even more special.
  • Be sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container and gently reheat them before enjoying for the best flavor and texture.
