Easy Potluck Desserts

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • - 1 can of sliced peaches in syrup
  • - 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • - 1/2 cup of butter melted
  • - 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon optional
  • - Vanilla ice cream for serving, optional

Instructions

  • Cooking Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Pour the canned peaches, along with their syrup, into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading them evenly across the bottom.
  • Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the peaches, making sure to cover them completely.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix, ensuring that as much of the mix as possible is moistened.
  • If desired, sprinkle ground cinnamon over the top for added flavor.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • For best results, let the Peach Cobbler Dump Cake sit for a few minutes after baking to allow the juices to settle. This dessert is best served warm, but it can also be enjoyed at room temperature.
  • If you're making this for a potluck, consider doubling the recipe, as it tends to disappear quickly! Pair it with vanilla ice cream for a delightful contrast to the warm cobbler. Enjoy!
