Chicken Cheesesteaks

  • - Boneless skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • - Onions thinly sliced
  • - Red bell pepper thinly sliced
  • - Green bell pepper thinly sliced
  • - Provolone cheese
  • - Italian seasoning
  • - Salt
  • - Pepper
  • - Hoagie rolls or sub rolls

  • Cooking Instructions:
  • Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Sauté them for about 5 minutes or until they become soft and slightly caramelized. Stir occasionally to guarantee even cooking.
  • Once the vegetables are cooked, add the thinly sliced chicken breast to the skillet. Season the chicken with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook the chicken for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it's browned and cooked through.
  • After the chicken is thoroughly cooked, combine it with the sautéed onions and bell peppers. Mix everything well to guarantee the flavors are combined.
  • Top the chicken and vegetable mixture with slices of provolone cheese. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it sit for a couple of minutes until the cheese melts.
  • Once the cheese is melted, spoon the chicken and vegetable mixture onto hoagie rolls or sub rolls. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious chicken cheesesteaks!
