  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lightly greasing a wire rack placed on top of it.
  • Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for the crushed cornflakes. Season the flour with salt and pepper for added flavor.
  • Ensure your chicken breasts are thawed and ready. Begin by dipping each chicken breast into the flour, ensuring even coverage, and shaking off any excess flour.
  • Next, coat the floured chicken in the beaten eggs, allowing any excess egg to drip off before moving to the next step.
  • Press the chicken breasts into the seasoned cornflakes, ensuring all sides are well-coated for maximum crunch. Place the coated chicken on the prepared wire rack, leaving space between each piece.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • While the chicken is baking, prepare the hot honey glaze by mixing honey, hot sauce, melted butter, and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl.
  • Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and immediately brush the hot honey glaze over each piece. Allow the chicken to rest briefly before serving.
  • For best results, use fresh chicken breasts and ensure they are thawed completely before breading. You can also experiment with different spices in the cornflake mixture to customize the flavor to your liking.
